Supportive Services - Overview of Program
A social
worker is available in Summit County to assist older adults
(age 60+) to identify services and benefits for which they
may be eligible and to help them identify and apply for needed
services. The social worker helps with benefit applications,
such as food stamps or utility discount programs. Home visits
are done for those who do not leave their homes easily.
Emergency
food orders are available in Summit County for older adults
and individuals with disabilities who are having food emergencies.
Delivery is available, if needed.
