Position: Information Technology Service Supervisor

 

The IT Service Supervisor manages Help Desk operations, supervising the Service Specialist and providing weekly reports to the IT Manager.  Manage various IT initiatives as assigned; maintain and improve support, providing timely and courteous response to user service requests.  Maintain and update hardware and software inventory, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues, installing new equipment, etc.  Provide user software support and additional IT training as needed; document software, hardware, user information and operating procedures.  Assist with WLAN and server maintenance for headquarters and branch offices; recommend IT procurements and assist with application updates as appropriate.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Degree or equivalent experience in an IT/IS field required.  Minimum of two years experience managing client environments with Windows XP or higher and troubleshooting hardware/software problems required; additional experience with Exchange 2003 server or higher administration experience also required.  A+ & MCSA certification or high and experience with Hyper-V virtualization preferred.

 

Location: Akron, OH

Wage: $16.00 – 18.00 hourly Status: Non-Exempt

Hours: Full - time position, between 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, and other hours as required.
