Although women are less likely to drink than men, they are more vulnerable to the effects of alcohol use. Mature women have aging related physical changes, which adds to their risk of problems with alcohol and other drugs. They get addicted faster with smaller amounts than any other group of adults.

 

The D. Bruce Mansfield Center provides treatment to mature
